NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- Behind a season-best 473-yard offensive day, the Augsburg College football team claimed a 27-9 victory over host St. Olaf College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Saturday at Manitou Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg put together its best offensive day of the season, producing 354 passing yards and 119 rushing yards, compared to St. Olaf's 373 yards (303 passing, 70 rushing).

Quentin Lake (FY, Portland, Ore./Lincoln HS), who relieved quarterbackÂ
Shannon Storley (SO, Waconia, Minn.) in the second quarter, completed 25-of-34 passing for 303 yards and two touchdowns, both to receiver
Nahjai Brown (JR, Roseville, Minn.) -- a 27-yard pass late in the second quarter and a 34-yard pass late in the third quarter. Storley completed 11-of-16 passes for 51 yards.
• Brown, who caught his first two collegiate passes last week, caught 13 passes for 147 yards to lead the Auggies -- both totals season-highs for an Augsburg receiver so far this season.
Nick Heenie (SO, Victoria, Minn./Waconia HS) caught seven passes for 75 yards,
James Newton (JR, Roseville, Minn.) caught five passes for 59 yards and
Cyrus Elliott (SR, Baldwin, Wis./Baldwin-Woodville HS) caught five passes for 45 yards.

Anastacio VandenBosch-Romo (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) rushed 20 times for 94 yards and a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter.

Tyler Hanson (SO, Prior Lake, Minn.) connected on two field goals in the fourth quarter, 37 and 25 yards. Hanson is now 4-of-6 on field goals this season and 14-of-14 on extra points.
• Defensively, Augsburg forced four St. Olaf turnovers -- three interceptions and a fumble.
Isiah Malone (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Park Center HS) collected his third interception of the season, while
William Johnson (SR, St. Anthony Village, Minn.) claimed his second pickoff and
Barclay Bates (SO, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) had his first pickoff.

Jabri Guy (SO, Moline, Ill./Eagan (Minn.) HS) led the Auggies with eight tackles (seven solo), while
Derek Glynn (FY, Faribault, Minn.) andÂ
Lorenzo Hernandez (SO, New Ulm, Minn.) had six tackles apiece.
• Augsburg claimed four quarterback sacks on the day -- by Bates,
Isaac Hove (SO, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS),
Khoa Nguyen (SR, Rochester, Minn./Lourdes HS) and
Jermaine Borward (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Tartan HS).
FOR THE FOES
• Troy Peterson led the way offensively for St. Olaf, catching 11 passes for 132 yards. Ricardo Johnson III gained 50 yards on 16 rushes.
• St. Olaf used two quarterbacks in the game. Johnson completed 13-of-26 passes for 108 yards, and Jack Goldstein completed 13-of-21 passes for 195 yards and a fourth-quarter, 13-yard touchdown pass to Connor Henderson.
• Kyle McMahan connected on a 31-yard field goal in the first quarter.
• Tommy Fleetham led the Oles with 11 tackles (five solo) and a half-sack, while Colten Yahn had nine tackles (four solo) and Coleman Foley had eight tackles (four solo).
