QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER:
• "We were in control from the start, connecting on over 700 passes and creating 15 or so high-quality chances. The defensive pressure was less than it has been, and certainly less than it will be against Macalester on Saturday, so we need to understand the variables in this performance."
• "When we score first, we seem to grab a bunch of goals and that will be our challenge moving forward into the last three MIAC games. We aren't mathematically out, but it's the tallest task remaining of all the teams trying to get in. We scored some good ones today, so hopefully we can keep that up and find a way through Macalester's brick wall in the run of play."
• "We used a lot of guys today and left a few back on campus to attend classes, and it was a good game for the group. With Macalester coming up, we have to get the group to train with good tempo and intensity, and remain sharp and concentrated all week as we prepare for Saturday night's game. Macalester is the defending champions and were in the Sweet 16 last year, and they've been much the same this season."

UP NEXT
• Augsburg hosts Macalester on Saturday (10/22) at 7:30 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field.
