ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg College volleyball team posted a 3-0 victory over Hamline University at Hutton Arena on Wednesday night. With the win, Augsburg has now won eight consecutive matches, 11 of its last 12, and remains alone atop the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings.

• Augsburg claimed decisive victories in the first two sets, but had to use a thrilling comeback in the third set. Trailing 24-22,Â
Courtney Lemke (SR, Brownton, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) served four straight points to claim the come-from-behind win in the third and final set.Â
• The Augsburg offense was led by
Jaelyn Arndt (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn), who posted nine kills, while adding four digs and three blocks (one solo).
• The Auggies teammed up to record 61 digs in the match, compared to just 45 for the Pipers. Leading the way for the Auggie defense wasÂ
DeeDee Maier (SR, Middleton, Wis.) andÂ
Macey Terhell (SO, Osceola, Wis.), who posted 13 digs apiece.

Courtney Lemke (SR, Brownton, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) posted a match-high 36 assists coming off her recent MIAC Player of the Week honor.
• For the match, Augsburg hit .172, while holding the Pipers to just a .019 hitting percentage. The Auggies recorded five service aces in the match, compared to just one for Hamline.
FOR THE FOES
• Hamline was led byJulia Zolnosky, who posted eight kills on 33 attempts, while adding nine digs.
• Amelia Jensen led the Pipers with a team-high 11 digs, while Morgan Coleman dished out 15 assits.
