SUPERIOR, Wis. -- With four different players scoring goals, the Augsburg College women's hockey team completed its season-opening trip to the Twin Ports with a 4-3 win over the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Making her first start in goal after transferring from Division I Union (N.Y.),
Leah Patrick (SO, Hudson, Wis./Hill-Murray HS) collected 24 saves to earn her first victory as an Auggie.

Bridget Wagner (FY, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) struck first for Augsburg, scoring her first collegiate goal, an unassisted marker 5:27 into play. Augsburg made it 2-0 at the 10:45 mark, when
Callen Naasz (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South HS) scored her second goal of the year, assisted by
Darby Lindgren (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS).
• UW-Superior scored twice to tie the game at 2-2 after one period, but the Auggies scored twice in the second period to take the lead for good. Megan Robertson (JR, Boissevain, Manitoba) scored fromÂ
Nikki Nightengale (FY, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) and
Ashley Kloncz (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) at the 6:02 mark, and
Mackenzie Molnar (FY, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) scored her first collegiate goal at the 12:37 mark, assisted by
Jacie Hoehn (SO, Waseca, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville HS).
• Molnar had five shots on-goal for Augsburg, while Lindgren had four shots.
FOR THE FOES
• Hannah Currin scored from Lexie Weiss at the 12:45 mark of the second period, followed by a goal from Mikayla Goodin, assisted by Molly Shelton, at the 16:48 mark.
• Goodin scored her second goal of the game at the 15:34 mark of the third period, assisted by Shelton and Sam Westgaard.
• Natasha Singer had 21 saves in goal for UW-Superior.
