Trevor Stewart (SR, Highlands Ranch, Colo./Eastmont HS) claimed two of the four straight goals scored by the Augsburg College men's hockey team in a 4-1 nonconference victory over the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After giving up the opening goal of the game at the 2:49 mark of the second period,
Nate Flynn (JR, Hastings, Minn.) tied the game at 1-1 with a goal from
Corbin Chapman (SR, Burnsville, Minn.) and
Eli May (JR, Eagan. Minn.) just 56 seconds later. Stewart then scored on goal from Flynn at the 8:53 mark to give the Auggies the lead.

Eric Brenk (SO, Moorhead, Minn.) scored a power-play goal from Chapman and
Max Pernhem (JR, Stockholm, Sweden/Dragonskolan) with eight seconds left in the second period, and Stewart capped the scoring for the Auggies with a power-play goal at the 19:38 mark of the final frame, assisted by Pernhem and goalie
Jordyn Kaufer (SR, Stillwater, Minn.).
• Augsburg, ranked No. 11 in the latest U.S. College Hockey Online Division III national poll, outshot UW-Stout by a 33-20 margin in the game. Kaufer had 19 saves in goal for the Auggies in the win.
• Stewart had six shots on-goal for the Auggies, while
Eli May (JR, Eagan, Minn.) and
Drew Anderson (JR, Rochester, Minn./Century HS) had five shots each.
FOR THE FOES
• Craig Lindegard opened the scoring in the game with a power-play goal at the 2:49 mark of the second period, assisted by Riley Colvard and Adam Kresl.
• Tommi Ahlgren had 29 saves in goal for UW-Stout.
