MINNEAPOLISÂ -- The Augsburg College women's basketball team pulled off its second come-from-behind victory of the week with an 86-84 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Superior in nonconference action on Friday evening at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Hannah Steinhaus (JR, Waterville, Minn./Waterville-Elysian-Morristown HS) hit the game-winning bucket with one second remaining, as she drove down the baseline and converted the layup for the go-ahead basket in a wild and scrappy game.
• The Augsburg newcomers continued to make their presence known, posting 75 of the teams 86 points on the night. Tamira McLemore (FY, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) led the way with 23 points, seven assists, six steals and four rebounds.
• Camryn Speese (FY, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) also had an outstanding night, finishing with 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field, while adding six rebounds and a pair of assists.
• Also scoring in double figures for the Auggies was
K'Aezha Wubben (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) and
Aiza Wilson (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS), who finished with 14 and 13 points respectively.
• Augsburg trailed by as many as 21 points in the game, but saved its best basketball until the final quarter. The Auggies shot 70.6 percent (12-of-17) from the field, including 75.0 percent (3-of-4) from three-point range in the final frame. Augsburg took its first lead of the game on a Wubben three-pointer with 1:45 to play. UW-Superior was able to tie the game with seven seconds remaining with a 3-pointer of its own, but the Steinhaus layup with one second to play sealed the win for the Auggies.
• For the second straight game, Augsburg was outshot, this time by a 50.0 percent (32-of-64) to 46.4 percent (32-of-69) margin, and outrebounded (46-to-30), but still found a way to win.
• The Auggie defense forced 26 turnovers, the second straight game forcing 20-plus turnovers, while committing 17.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• The Auggies have won two straight to start the season six years in a row, dating back to the 2010-11 season.
FOR THE FOES
• The Yellowjackets were led by Hannah Norlin, who posted a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double, which included 8-of-12 shooting from the floor and 5-of-7 from the free-throw line.
• Hailey Kontny posted a team-high 23 points, while adding three rebounds and three assists.

• The Auggies return to action on Tuesday (11/22) at 7 p.m., taking on Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minn.
