MINNEAPOLIS -- Scoring its second straight shutout, the Augsburg College women's hockey team claimed a 5-0 win over Northland College in a nonconference game on Saturday afternoon at Ed Saugestad Rink.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Four different Auggies scored goals, with
Bridget Wagner (FY, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) collecting a goal and assist. Seven different Auggies figured in the scoring in the victory.
• Augsburg scored twice in a 1:49 span late in the first period, as
Megan Robertson (JR, Boissevain, Manitoba) scored from Wagner at the 16:30 mark, and
Mikayla Jones (FY, Stillwater, Minn.) scored from
Jeanette Bealke (FY, White Bear Lake, Minn.) at the 18:19 mark.
• Wagner scored her second goal of the season, a power-play marker at the 4:43 mark of the second period, assisted by
Callen Naasz (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South HS).

Nikki Nightengale (FY, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) scored her first collegiate goal at the 16:20 mark of the third period, assisted by Baily Beane (SO, Stillwater, Minn.).
• Making her third collegiate start in goal,
McKenna Manalli (SO, Byron, Ill.) stopped all 16 shots she faced to pick up her first shutout.
• Augsburg outshot Northland by a 38-16 margin in the game.
FOR THE FOES
• Samantha Scott and Allyson Reilly had three shots on-goal each for Northland.
• Chloe Marshall had 34 saves in goal for the Lumberjills.
