Rebecca Sonnek (JR, Edina, Minn.) claimed her second straight shutout, as the Augsburg College women's hockey team scored a 3-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win over St. Olaf College on Friday evening at Ed Saugestad Rink.

• Heitkamp claimed her first collegiate multi-goal game with her two-goal effort. She opened the scoring with a goal from
Bridget Walter (SO, Princeton, Minn.) and
Nikki Nightengale (FY, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) at the 12:14 mark of the first period, then capped the scoring with a power-play goal from
Callen Naasz (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South HS) at the 14:01 mark of the third period.

Ashley Kloncz (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) added to the Auggie scoring with a power-play goal at the 7:49 mark of the second period, assisted by
Darby Lindgren (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) and
Valerie Whichello (SO, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS).
• Sonnek claimed her second straight shutout, and third of her college career, with a 30-save performance, improving to 5-2-0 on the season.
• Augsburg outshot St. Olaf by a 33-30 margin. Heitkamp had six shots on-goal in the game, while
Megan Johnson (SO, Madison, Wis./Memorial HS) had four shots.
• Augsburg killed four power plays, including a 5-on-3 advantage overlapping the second and third periods. Augsburg scored two power-play goals in eight opportunities.

• Augsburg, ranked No. 10 in the latest
U.S. College Hockey Online Division III national poll, continued the second-best start to a season in program history with the victory. Augsburg's 7-2-0 start is second to the 8-0-1 start to the 1998-99 campaign as the program's best start after nine games.
• Augsburg has held its opponents to just nine goals in its nine games this season -- a 0.99 team goals-against-average that is best
among MIAC teams in overall statistics and fourth-best
among NCAA Division III teams nationally.
• Sonnek's 0.75 GAA and .967 save percentage are both tops among MIAC goalies in overall statistics. Her 0.75 GAA is fifth-best among Division III goalies nationally and her .967 save percentage is now third-best.
