Auggie streak snapped at UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT, Wis. -- The Augsburg College women's hockey team's three-game winning streak came to an end on Friday evening with a 1-0 nonconference loss at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg outshot UW-Stevens Point by a 20-19 margin, but the Pointers scored the lone goal of the game with 1:15 left in the first period.
• Rebecca Sonnek (JR, Edina, Minn.) collected 18 saves in goal for the Auggies.
• Megan Johnson (SO, Madison, Wis./Memorial HS) had four shots on-goal for Augsburg, while Ashley Kloncz (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) and Valerie Whichello (SO, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) had three shots each.
