NICHOLS• The Auggies were shutout for only the second time this season, leaving eight runners on base with four hits and three free passes. Â
• Courtney Larsen (SO, Little Canada, Minn./Concordia Academy HS) threw a gem as she allowed one run (zero earned) and only four hits with two strikeouts and two walks.
• The Auggie defense finished with 21 putouts on 24 Nichols at-bats, but also committed four errors that contributed to the run that beat them.Â
• Anna Podewils (FY, Burnsville, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) finished with two hits, going 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Auggies at the plate.Â
• Sarah Buckner (SR, Duluth, Minn./East HS) and Amanda Niznik (JR, Columbia Heights, Minn.) both went 1-for-3 in the game, while Brianna Cline (SO, St. Clair, Minn.) finished 0-for-1 with two walks and a stolen base. HIGHLIGHTS VS. SUFFOLK• Augsburg scored two runs on four hits and three walks, while Suffolk finished with six runs on nine hits.Â

Jenna Orth (SR, Melrose, Minn.),
Samantha Anderson (FY, Coon Rapids, Minn.) and
Taylor Mattice (SO, Woodbury, Minn./Centennial HS) all finished 1-for-3.Â

Ashley Anfinson finished 0-for-1 but walked twice and scored a run, Dropik scored the other Auggie run on Anderson's single.Â
• Anderson tallied 2 RBI, but struggled in the circle for the Auggies as she threw 0.1 inning allowing one hit, two runs, and three walks.Â

Courtney Larsen fell to 3-4 on the year throwing 5.2 innings giving up eight hits and four runs.Â
