Auggies edged at Concordia-Wisconsin

MEQUON, Wis. -- Scoring three goals in the final 7:36, Concordia University-Wisconsin claimed a 9-8, come-from-behind victory over visiting Augsburg College in a Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference game on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg held a 6-4 lead at halftime, but Concordia-Wisconsin outscored the Auggies 5-2 in the second half, including three goals in a 2:23 span late in the game.
• Sheala Osborne (FY, West St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) scored three goals to lead the Auggies, and Aliya Hinz (FY, Loretto, Minn./Delano HS) scored two goals.
• Helena Nguyen (SO, Maple Grove, Minn.), Ashley Pettipiece (SO, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) and Jesse Heusinkveld (SO, Mound, Minn./Mound-Westonka) scored for the Auggies, with Delaney Everett (SO, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) adding an assist.

• Concordia outshot Augsburg by a 28-19 margin and had 32 ground balls to the Auggies' 22. Concordia had 11 draw controls to Augsburg's eight.
