ST. PETER, Minn. -- Eric Olheiser (JR, Maplewood, Minn./Tartan HS) hit two home runs and drove in six runs in the doubleheader, leading his Augsburg College baseball team in a split of a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Gustavus Adolphus College on Tuesday.

DOUBLEHEADER HIGHLIGHTS
• Olheiser went 5-for-8 in the doubleheader, hitting two home runs and a double, driving in six runs while scoring four.
• Andy Julkowski (SR, Cedar, Minn./St. Francis HS) also went 5-for-8 with four runs scored, collecting a double and three RBI.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• The Auggies rallied from a 2-0 deficit, scoring all eight of its runs in the final three innings of the seven-inning opener.
• Olheiser and Brandon Schmahl (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) both scored on errors in the fifth inning, tying the game at 2-2.
• Back-to-back doubles by Bryce Pruszinske (SR, Savage, Minn./Burnsville HS) and Julkowski plated a run in the sixth inning. Julkowski scored on a wild pitch, and Olheiser scored on a sacrifice fly by Mike Brookshaw (FY, Prescott, Wis.).
• Julkowski hit an RBI single and Olheiser hit a two-run double in the seventh to cap the Auggie scoring.
• Olheiser and Rhett Hebig (JR, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) had three hits each for the Auggies, while Julkowski and Josh Marlowe (JR, North St. Paul, Minn.) had two hits each. Olheiser, Julkowski and Tyler "Jonesy" Buescher (JR, Prior Lake, Minn.) scored two runs each.
• Luke Chinn (SR, Burnsville, Minn.) started and struck out one batter in four innings of work, with Ryan Masui (FY, Chanhassen, Minn./Minnetonka HS) and Steven Piette (SR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) pitching in relief.

GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg built a 7-5 lead after five innings of the nine-inning second game, but Gustavus rallied with two runs in the seventh inning to take the lead for good.
• In the second inning, Mike Brookshaw doubled and came home on a double by Buescher, who then scored on an RBI single by Schmahl.
• Olheiser hit a pair of two-run homers, one in the third inning and the other in the fifth inning, bracketing an RBI single by Julkowski in the fifth.
• Julkowski went 3-for-4 in the second game, while Olheiser and Pruszinske each went 2-for-4.
• Augsburg used five pitchers in the second game.

FOR THE FOES
• Josh Chatfield and Brock Peterson had two hits each for Gustavus in the first game.
• Jacob Volness struck out eight while not walking a batter in six innings of pitching in the first game.
• Isiah Welckle and Chatfield had four hits each for the Gusties in the second game, with Welckle hitting three doubles and Chatfield hitting two doubles. Both drove in two runs each.
