ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Augsburg College held a 6-4 lead at halftime, but a 6-2 Hamline University run in the second half gave the hosts a 10-8 victory in a nonconference women's lacrosse game on Friday afternoon at Klas Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 2-1 midway through the first half, Augsburg scored four straight goals -- three by
Helena Nguyen (SO, Maple Grove, Minn.) to take a 5-2 advantage, a lead stretched to 6-4 at halftime. But Hamline scored four straight goals in 13-minute span in the second half, a lead it would not relinquish.

Izzy Snow (FY, Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) scored two goals with an assist for the Auggies, while
Sheala Osborne (FY, West St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) also scored two goals. Osborne added four draw controls, two caused turnovers and a ground ball.

Rachel Frantz (JR, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) scored a goal and
Shelby Brion (SR, Clearwater, Minn./Monticello HS) had two assists. Frantz had four ground balls, four caused turnovers and two ground balls.

• Hamline outshot Augsburg by a 25-23 margin, including a 13-9 advantage in the second half. Augsburg had 12 draw controls to Hamline's eight, but the Pipers had 14 ground balls to Augsburg's 11, and converted 19-of-20 clearing attempts, compared to 16-of-22 for the Auggies.
FOR THE FOES
• Dana Almquist scored five goals for the Pipers, while Lexus Tatge had two goals and two assists. Tatge also had five caused turnovers, four draw controls and three ground balls, while Almquist had three caused turnovers and three ground balls.
• Molly Dionne had 12 saves in goal for the Pipers.
