WAVERLY, Iowa -- Claiming a 34-16 advantage in shots, the Augsburg College women's lacrosse team rallied for a 12-10 win over Wartburg College in a Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference contest on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 7-5 at halftime, Augsburg scored seven of the next eight goals in the game, including two man-up goals and one man-down goal, to take a 12-8 lead with 4:14 left in the second half. Wartburg scored two goals in the final two minutes to trim the lead to the final margin.

Helena Nguyen (SO, Maple Grove, Minn.) scored three goals to lead the Auggies, including a man-down and man-up goal in the Auggies' 7-1 run in the second half.

Sheala Osborne (FY, West St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) scored two goals and added an assist each, with Halvorson adding three ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover, and Osborne adding four draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover.

• Augsburg outshot Wartburg by a 34-16 margin in the game, including a 19-7 advantage in the second half. The Auggies had 16 ground balls to Wartburg's 12, while Wartburg had 13 draw controls to Augsburg's 11.
FOR THE FOES
• Ashley Lahti scored five goals with an assist to lead the Knights, while Megan Howe scored two goals with an assist. Lahti had seven draw controls and two ground balls.
