MINNEAPOLIS -- Surrendering two first-half goals, the Augsburg College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to the University of Northwestern-St. Paul in a nonconference contest on Monday evening at Edor Nelson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg outshot Northwestern by a 17-11 margin, but put just five shots on-goal in the contest. Both teams had three corner kicks.
• The Auggies were whistled for offsides nine times in the game, while Northwestern had none.

Bobby Kohl (JR, Shorewood, Wis.) had four shots in the game, while
Luke Falk (SO, Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West HS) and
Christian Metzger (SO, Savage, Minn./Prior Lake HS) had three shots each.

FOR THE FOES
• Chris Cleope scored both Northwestern goals -- a floater from 35 yards out in the 18th minute, and a goal from Derrick Aminga in the 42nd minute. He had five shots in the game for the Eagles.
• Turner Main had five saves in goal for Northwestern.
