MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Augsburg College volleyball team swept Concordia College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night at Memorial Auditorium. With the win, the Auggies move to 2-0 to remain unbeaten in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg jumped out to early leads in the first two sets and cruised to victories by identitical scores of 25-14. The third set was more evenly matched and after being tied at 18-18, Augsburg was able to seal the 25-22 win to stay atop the MIAC standings.
• Augsburg was led by
DeeDee Maier (SR, Middleton, Wis.), who posted her fourth kill-dig double-double of the season, posting a match-best 12 kills, on a season-high 41 attempts, while adding 15 digs.

Macey Terhell (SO, Osceola, Wis.) led all players with a match-high 24 digs, her sixth match this season with 20-plus digs.

Courtney Lemke (SR, Brownton, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) posted a match-high 24 assists, while adding seven digs and a service ace.
• Augsburg posted six team blocks, led by a season-high four (three solo) from
Jaelyn Arndt (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS).
• Augsburg has now posted regular season wins over the Cobbers three of the past four seasons (2013, 2014 and 2016).
• For the match, Augsburg hit .216, while holding the Cobbers to a .000 hitting percentage. The Auggies recorded 65 digs, compared to just 53 for Concordia and posted 41 kills to just 25 for the Cobbers.
FOR THE FOES
• Emily Friedrich, posted a team-high eight kills and 13 digs.
• Jena Klaphke led the Cobber offense with 16 assists.
