MINNEAPOLIS --
Collin Olmscheid (JR, Buffalo, Minn.) led the Augsburg College men's basketball team with a 20-point effort in a 78-55 loss to Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Monday night at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• A season-best shooting effort from Gustavus, combined with an off-shooting night for the Auggies, led to the uneven score.
• Olmscheid paced Augsburg with a 20-point, eight-rebound effort. The performance marked Olmscheid's 10th game this season scoring 20-plus points. He finished 7-of-13 from the field and 2-of-3 from beyond the three-point arc.

Richie Perea (SR, Colorado Springs, Colo./Wasson HS) led the Auggies with four assists, while adding two steals.
• Fifteen different Auggies saw action in the contest, with 10 factoring in the scoring.
• For the game, Augsburg was held to 37.5 percent (21-of-56) shooting from the field, while Gustavus hit a season-best 59.3 percent (32-of-54) of its shot attempts.The Gusties hit 62.5 percent (10-of-16) from three-point range, while the Auggies could only connect on 4-of-19.
• Gustavus claimed a 37-26 advantage in rebounding.
FOR THE FOES
• Gustavus was led by Alec Koster, who finished with 20 points. Koster shot an impressive 8-of-9 from the field, while adding four rebounds and four assists.
• Also finishing in double figures for the Gusties were Riley Sharbono and Kelsey Thomas, who posted 14 points apiece.
