MINNEAPOLIS -- Ellie Schwartz (SO, Woodbury, Minn./Hill Murray HS) recorded a career-high 14 kills to lead the Augsburg University volleyball team in a nonconference victory over the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Wednesday night at Johnson Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg put together its third-best hitting performance of the season, posting a .331 attack percentage, while holding UW-Stout to a .179 hitting percentage. The Auggies are 14-0 this season when they hit better than .215.
• Schwartz's career-best 14 kills marked the second time this season she has recorded double-digit kills. Schwartz had no errors on the night, hitting at a ..538 clip, while adding three blocks and two digs. 
• Defensively, Taylor Linn (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) paced Augsburg with 15 digs, while adding eight kills and an ace. Macey Terhell (JR, Osceola, Wis./Osceola HS) added 13 digs.
• Morgan Malley (JR, Harmony, Minn./Fillmore Central HS) led the Auggies in setting, dishing out 35 assists, while adding eight digs and three kills.
• Continuing to lead the Augsburg block was Corrina Evans (FY, Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS), who posted four blocks (one solo), while adding nine kills.

FOR THE FOES
• Kennedy Strain recorded a match-high 16 kills to lead the Stout attack.
• Jessica DuVal recorded 37 assists, while Steph Cannon picked up 15 digs.
