MINNEAPOLIS -- Twenty-one seconds after Bethel University tied the game at 1-1,
Jeanette Bealke (SO, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) scored her first collegiate goal, lifting the Augsburg University women's hockey team to a 2-1 win in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• In her 24th collegiate game, Bealke scored her first collegiate goal at the 14:38 mark of the third period, assisted by
Bridget Wagner (SO, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS), to give the Auggies a 2-1 lead.
• The Auggies took the early lead, when
Megan Johnson (JR, Madison, Wis./Memorial HS) scored her first goal of the season, a power-play marker from
Valerie Whichello (JR, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) and
Nikki Nightengale (SO, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS).
• The Auggies claimed a 31-12 advantage in shots on-goal, including a 13-2 advantage in the second period. But Augsburg couldn't notch their second goal of the game until 21 seconds after the Royals tied the game late in the third period.
• Making her second collegiate start in goal,
McKenna Manalli (JR, Byron, Ill./Byron HS) had 12 saves in goal to claim the victory.
• Whichello had four shots on-goal in the game, as did
Emily Ach (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS).
FOR THE FOES
• Bethel tied the game at the 14:17 mark of the third period, when Erika Geary scored from Sarah Moy and Wendy Roberts.
• Michelle Klimstra had 29 saves in goal for the Royals.
