Emily Ach (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) scored two goals, including the eventual game-winner early in the third period, lifting Augsburg University to a 3-2 win and a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's hockey series sweep of Bethel University on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ach scored both goals on assists by
McKenna Ellena (FY, Wales, Wis./Kettle Moraine HS), the Auggies' first goal at the 15:51 mark of the first period, and the Auggies' final goal of the game, at the 4:27 mark of the third period. The assists marked the first two points of Ellena's collegiate career, while Ach now has two goals and an assist.
• Trailing 2-1 after two periods, the Auggies tied the game 89 seconds into the third period, when
Bridget Walter (JR, Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS) scored her first goal of the season, assisted by
Kayla Murray (JR, Beaver Dam, Wis./Beaver Dam HS). Both Walter and Murray, a transfer from Adrian (Mich.), now have a goal and assist on the year.Â
• Both Augsburg and Bethel had 25 shots on-goal in the game. Ach had five shots, while
Megan Johnson (JR, Madison, Wis./Memorial HS) and

• Bethel scored the opening goal of the game at the 11:42 mark of the first period, when Bri Stafne scored from Kaitlyn VanTassel. VanTassel gave the Royals a 2-1 lead at the 8:04 mark of the second period, scoring a power-play goal from Erika Geary.
• Michelle Klimstra had 22 saves in goal for the Royals.
