FINAL SCORE: Augsburg 75, Northwestern 45
LOCATION: Erickson Center, St. Paul, Minn.
RECORDS: Augsburg 6-4 overall, Northwestern 6-5 overall

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies put together their best shooting performance of the season; connecting on 50.8 percent (30-of-59) from the field and 52.0 percent (13-of-25) from three-point range. The 13 three-pointers are a season-best. It's the eighth time in the last two seasons that Augsburg has connected on 10 or more three-pointers, and Augsburg hasn't lost in a game in the last five season when it makes nine or more three-pointers in a game.
• After a tightly contested first quarter, the Auggie defense stepped up the pressure and allowed just 17 Northwestern points over the next two quarters combined. In contrast, the Auggies had a very balanced offensive output, scoring 17, 19, 21 and 18 points respectively in the four quarters.
• Wilson led the Augsburg offensive attack with 18 points on a 7-of-10 shooting afternoon. She was 4-of-7 from three-point range and tied a career-high with five assists.
• Also finishing in double figures for the Auggies was K'Aezha Wubben (SO, SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS), who scored 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting. Overall 12 different Auggies saw action in the contest and 10 factored into the scoring. The Auggies claimed a 45-8 advantage in bench scoring.
Camryn Speese (SO, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) paced Augsburg on the boards, pulling down a six rebounds to go along with nine points, shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the field.
• Augsburg claimed a 31-22 advantage on the boards and posted a 28-12 advantage in points in the paint and a 22-11 advantage in points off turnovers.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• The 30-point margin of victory is the team's largest in Ted Riverso's three-season tenure as Augsburg's head coach, and the largest for Augsburg's women's basketball team since a 33-point, 78-45 win over Northwestern on Dec. 18, 2014.
• It's the fifth time in 10 games this season that Augsburg has scored 70-plus points. Augsburg's 66.7 points per-game average is fourth-best among MIAC teams in overall statistics.
