MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College women's basketball team dropped a 68-59 contest to Bethel University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies struggled to find their offensive rhythm and dropped a tough game to Bethel.
• Four Augsburg players finished with nine points apiece --
Tamira McLemore (FY, Eagan, Minn.),
Camryn Speese (FY, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS), K'Aezha Wubben (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) and Aiza Wilson (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS). Speese added seven rebounds and an assist to her stat line, while McLemore chipped in six rebounds, a pair of assists and a steal.

Hannah Steinhaus (JR, Waterville, Minn./Waterville-Elysian-Morristown HS) led the Auggies on the boards, pulling down a team-best eight rebounds, to go along with six points and four blocked shots.
• Augsburg won the turnover battle, forcing 17 while only committing nine. The Auggies posted a 19-10 advantage in points off-turnovers.
• The Auggies also claimed an advantage in offensive rebounds, with 17 compared to just 11 for the Royals. Augsburg also posted a 17-10 advantage in second-chance points.
• For the game, Augsburg shot just 30.4 percent (21-of-69) from the field, while Bethel converted 44.6 percent (25-of-56) of its shot attempts. The Royals claimed a 46-41 advantage on the boards.

• Today marked the final home game for Augsburg senior
Erin Bolden (Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS). Bolden has been a part of an incredible turnaround of the Auggie women's basketball program. For the first time in the post-Title IX era, the Augsburg women's basketball team has posted four consecutive double-digit win seasons. Bolden currently has a four-year career record of 54-46.
FOR THE FOES
• Bethel was led by Hannah Johnson, who posted an 18-point, 14-rebound double-double, connecting on 9-of-14 from the field.
• Abby Miller and Angie Kirchoff also finished in double figures for the Royals, posting 14 and 12 points respectively.
