MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College women's lacrosse team claimed its second victory of its season-opening weekend, an 18-4 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference win over Monmouth College on Sunday afternoon at Edor Nelson Field.

Delaney Everett (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) scored four goals to lead the Auggies to the win, while
Dezera Sieracki (SR, Wyoming, Minn./Centennial HS) scored three goals with two assists.
Mikayla Knudson (FY, Zimmerman, Minn./Elk River HS) scored three goals with an assist.

Helena Nguyen (JR, Maple Grove, Minn.) scored three goals,
Rachel Frantz (SR, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) and
Izzy Snow (SO, Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) had a goal and four assists.
Ashley Pettipiece (JR, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) had a goal and an assist,
Kassandra Diaz (SO, Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS) scored a goal and
Gabby Walstrom (FY, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) had an assist.
• Augsburg jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first 12:18 of play, eventually leading 12-1 at halftime. The Auggies outshot the Fighting Scots by a 30-11 margin in the game.
• Augsburg claimed 30 ground balls to Monmouth's 17, and had 16 draw controls compared to Monmouth's eight. Augsburg also converted 17-of-22 clearing attempts, compared to 9-of-28 for Monmouth.
• Sieracki had five ground balls, four draw controls and four caused turnovers for the Auggies, while
Demey Everett (FY, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) had five ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Delaney Everett had four ground balls four draw controls and three caused turnovers, and both
Christina Nelson (SO, Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS) and Jesse Heusinkveld (JR, Mound, Minn./Mound-Westonka HS) had four caused turnovers and two ground balls.

Marissa Guillou (JR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) had four saves on the day, along with two caused turnovers and two ground balls.

• Kara-Jade Gordon scored all four Monmouth goals in the game. She also had three caused turnovers, three draw controls and four ground balls.
• Amanda Green had five ground balls, four caused turnovers and two draw controls.
• Elizabeth Reasoner had four saves in goal, along with four caused turnovers and three ground balls.
