TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Augsburg College softball team finished its week-long trip to the Tucson Invitational Games on Thursday with a split of games, topping Dickinson College 10-7 and falling to No. 22-ranked Central College 9-2.

DICKINSON GAME HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg built a 7-2 lead after four innings, then held on during a late Dickinson rally with two runs in the sixth and another in the seventh.

Samantha Anderson (SO, Coon Rapids, Minn.) improved to 6-2 on the season with a complete-game pitching win, striking out three while walking three. Of the seven runs charged to her, just three were earned.
• Dropik and Cline had two hits and scored three runs apiece, while Larson and Parker also had two hits and a run scored each.
CENTRAL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg fell behind 5-0 after four innings and were limited to just three hits against Central, ranked No. 22 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III national poll.
• The Auggies scored two runs in the fifth inning, as Hurley drove in a run on a bases-loaded walk, and Dropik hit a run-scoring single to plate Larson.
• Dropik, Larson and Niznik had the three hits in the game for the Auggies.

Courtney Larsen (JR, Little Canada, Minn./Concordia Academy HS) pitched a complete-game effort for the Auggies, with just four earned runs among the nine charged to her.

• Augsburg went 5-5 during its week of games in Tucson, hitting .299 as a team with nine doubles, two triples and a home run.
• Dropik hit .500 (13-of-26) on the week with two triples, five RBI, a .654 slugging percentage and .658 on-base percentage, driving in five runs while also drawing a team-high 10 walks and stealing three bases.
• Parker hit .375 (12-of-32) on the week with a home run, seven runs scored and seven RBI, and Cline hit .353 (12-of-34) with a double, nine runs scored and five RBI.
• Anderson went 4-2 in the pitching circle on the week with 25 strikeouts against 11 walks in 35.1 innings of work. Larsen had eight strikeouts in 27.0 innings of work.
