TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Augsburg College baseball team closed its 10-game trip to the Tucson Invitational Games with a pair of close losses to Concordia University-Wisconsin on Friday morning, falling 5-4 and 3-1.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• The Auggies took a 2-0 lead after four innings, but Concordia-Wisconsin scored five runs in a row in the next two frames. Augsburg scored two runs in the top of the seventh, but the potential game-tying run was stranded on-base to end the game.

Clayton Bodine (SO, Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata HS) drove in two runs on a single in the fourth inning. In the seventh,
Jordan DeCroock (JR, Farmington, Minn.) drove in a run on a sacrifice fly and Tyler "Jonesy" Buescher (SR, Prior Lake, Minn.) drove in a run on a single.
• Augsburg was limited to four hits in the game -- singles by Buescher, Bodine,Â
Zach Bakko (JR, Northfield, Minn.) andÂ
Walker Rogers (FY, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS).

GAME 2Â HIGHLIGHTS
• Concordia scored single runs in the second, third and fifth innings, while limiting Augsburg to a single run in the third. Augsburg had a chance to claim the win in the bottom of the seventh, but left the bases loaded to end the game.
• Buescher reached base on a fielder's choice in the third inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Bakko for the Auggies' lone run.
• Bodine went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Auggies in the second game.

• Augsburg went 6-4 in its 10 games in Tucson, outhitting its opponents by a 111-76 margin and outscoring its opponents by a 75-35 margin. Augsburg hit .347 as a team, compared to .265 for its opponents.
• Eight Auggies had 10 or more hits during the week, led by Buescher's 17. He hit .425 (17-for-40) with 13 runs scored, two doubles and seven RBI. He also had a team-best six walks on the week.
• Bakko had 11 hits, including two home runs, a double and triple, and hit a team-best .458 with eight RBI, 12 runs scored and an .833 slugging percentage on the week.

Eric Olheiser (SR, Maplewood, Minn./Tartan HS) had a team-best 11 RBI and five extra-base hits (three home runs, one double, one triple), and DeCroock had 10 RBI on the week.
