MINNEAPOLIS -- Five days after dropping a pair of games in walk-off fashion, the Augsburg College baseball team scored two wins in its final at-bats, scoring a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader sweep of Saint Mary's University on Thursday afternoon at Parade Stadium.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Tied 1-1 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning,
Jordan DeCroock (JR, Farmington, Minn.) hit a double to left, moved to third on a wild pitch, and came around to score on an RBI single byÂ

• In the third inning, Tyler "Jonesy" Buescher (SR, Prior Lake, Minn.) hit a one-out single, moved to third on a balk and fielder's choice, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Marlowe.

Jacob Kari (JR, North Branch, Minn.) pitched a complete-game win for the Auggies, striking out four while walking three.

Eric Olheiser (SR, Maplewood, Minn./Tartan HS) hit a double in the second inning, one of six hits for the Auggies in the game.

GAME 2Â HIGHLIGHTS
• Trailing 6-4 going into the bottom of the ninth inning, the Auggies rallied with three runs to claim the win and the sweep. Olheiser led off the inning with a double, and
Mike Brookshaw (SO, Prescott, Wis.) launched a two-run homer to right field to tie the game -- just the second home run hit by the Auggies in six games at Parade Stadium this year.
Mike Snow (FY, Corrales, N.M./Sandia Prep HS) hit a single, and after an intentional walk and wild pitch moved him to third, he scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly by
Rhett Hebig (SR, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS).
• After surrendering three runs in the top of the fourth, Augsburg scored a run in the fourth inning without a hit, as Hebig and Marlowe walked, Hebig moved to third on a flyout to right and scored on a sacrifice fly by
Clayton Bodine (SO, Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata HS).
• The Auggies scored twice in the sixth inning, as Hebig and Marlowe led off the frame with singles and each moved up a base on a wild pitch. A sacrifice fly byÂ
Jack Duffy (SR, Fridley, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) and an RBI groundout by Bodine.
• Hebig walked in the eighth inning, moved to third on a single by Marlowe, then scored on a sacrifice fly by Duffy.
• Augsburg had just six hits in the second game, with Marlowe collecting two hits. The Auggies also claimed two double plays in the game.
FOR THE FOES
• Ben Buerkle hit a solo home run for Saint Mary's in the fourth inning of the first game.
• R.J. Brown struck out six while walking four, throwing 111 pitches in a complete-game effort in the first game.
• Bob Kinne went 3-for-4 with a double, scoring three runs in the second game. Chris Bartosz went 3-for-4 with two RBI, and Jake Barry hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning and drove home another run on a groundout.
