ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg College baseball team dropped a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Macalester College on Friday afternoon, falling 5-0 and 22-1.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg was unable to get a hit off of Macalester pitcher Cole Chang, who pitched a seven-inning no-hitter. The Auggies had two hit batters in the second inning, another in the fifth, a walk in the sixth and a hit batter and fielder's choice in the seventh.

Jack Duffy (SR, Fridley, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) reached base all three times he came to the plate, as he was hit by pitches in each plate appearance -- making him officially 0-for-0 in the game.

Eric Olheiser (SR, Maplewood, Minn./Tartan HS) was also hit by a pitch,
Mike Brookshaw (SO, Prescott, Wis.) reached base on a walk and
Walker Rogers (FY, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) reached base on a fielder's choice.

Jamie Kaye (SO, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) pitched a complete-game effort for Augsburg, striking out three while not walking a batter and allowing seven hits.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg scored its lone run in the first inning, as
Josh Marlowe (SR, North St. Paul, Minn.) hit a two-out double and scored on a single by Olheiser.
• Macalester tied the game in the first inning, scored five runs in the second, another run in the fourth, then scored 12 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, sending 15 batters to the plate. Three more runs came across in the sixth inning of the game, which was halted after seven innings due to the MIAC second-game 10-run rule.
• Marlowe had two of Augsburg's eight hits in the game, while Brookshaw and
Clayton Bodine (SO, Plymouth, Minn./Wayata HS) each hit a double.
FOR THE FOES
• Chang struck out three while walking one in his seven-inning no-hitter in the first game, then started and pitched the first two innings of the second game. Dylan Edwards-Gaherty picked up the second-game win with four strikeouts in four innings of relief.
• Nick McMullen had five hits, including two home runs, and drove in five runs while scoring five runs in the doubleheader. Carl Francalangia, Alex Baretta and Ben Castagnetti had four hits each in the doubleheader for the Scots. Baretta scored four runs, while Francalangia and Castagnetti scored three runs each.
