QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "Augsburg University gets the new name off to a good start. We had good control of the game today, and navigated some interesting moments fairly well. For the most part, we had good possession in midfield, and we had some really good moments in attack. Lionel's pass on our goal was outstanding, and he was outstanding all game. Shortly after the goal, Lionel slammed one off the crossbar and then Luke's follow up hit the post."
• "It was really good to see a lot of guys do really well as substitutes.
Tommy Picka and
Johnny Vu made their collegiate debuts and held their own.
Michel Jakobitz and Nate Bergstrom were solid in midfield, and Sully is coming off a little illness and looked better today than the past few days of training. He should be ready to go fully on Sunday. Seniors
Blake McReavy and
Jason Scheeler gave us some really good stuff up top, and they are very different players so the combo provides some challenges for the opposition."
