Jordan Weeding (SR, Greenfield, Minn./Rockford HS) paced the Augsburg University offense in a 3-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball victory over St. Catherine University on Wednesday night at the Butler Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg came out firing on all cylinders, hitting at an incredible .583 clip, while posting a 25-13 first set victory. The second set was a knock-out battle, with both teams having a chance to serve for the win. Augsburg was able to capitalize on a Wildcat serving error and a kill fromÂ
Taylor Linn (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) to seal a 27-25 victory. St. Catherine stormed out to a 8-1 lead in the final set, but the Auggies rallied back and claimed a 25-18 victory, picking up the key MIACÂ win.
• Weeding led all players with 11 kills, hitting .375 in the match, while adding four digs and a service ace.
• The Auggie attack also received nine kills fromÂ
Ellie Schwartz (SO, Woodbury, Minn.,/Hill Murray) andÂ
Taylor Linn (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS). Schwartz added two blocks, while Linn added 12 digs and three service aces.
• Defensively, Augsburg had another solid night, posting a 71-48 advantage in team digs, while being led by six blocks from
Corrina Evans (FY, Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS).
Macey Terhell (JR, Osceola, Wis./Osceola HS) picked up a match-high 18 digs, while
Tayah Barnes (FY, Preston, Minn./Fillmore Central HS) added 10 digs, her second consecutive double-digit dig performance.

Morgan Malley (JR, Harmony, Minn./Fillmore Central HS) led all players with 32 assists, while adding 12 digs and a pair of kills.
FOR THE FOES
• Payton Barker led the Wildcat offense with seven kills, while hitting a team-best .316.
• Emily Neumann recorded 13 assists, while Larissa Kisch posted 13 digs for St. Catherine.
