WAVERLY, Iowa -- Surrendering a goal in each half, the Augsburg University women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, a 2-0 setback at Wartburg College on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wartburg outshot Augsburg by an 11-5 margin in the first half, but Augsburg outshot Wartburg 12-5 in the second half. However, the Auggies could not connect on a goal, and surrendered goals in the 41st and 55th minutes.

Ashley St. Aubin (SO, Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS) had five shots in the game, while
Ciara Gregory (SO, Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) had three shots and
Nora Edelen (JR, Middleton, Wis./Middleton HS) had two shots.

Emily Chapman (SO, Elburn, Ill./Kaneland HS) and
Marissa Guillou (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) split time in goal for the Auggies, with Chapman recording six saves in the first half and Guillou recording three saves in the second half.
FOR THE FOES
• Kate Motzko scored from Morgan Neuendorf in the 41st minute, and Nicole Adair scored an unassisted goal in the second half for Wartburg.
• Beth Crow had six saves in goal to record the shutout.
