Auggies score 6-1 win at Northwestern

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's soccer team gave up the first goal of the game, then scored the next six goals of the game, scoring a 6-1 nonconference win at Northwestern University-St. Paul on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Northwestern scored the first goal of game in the 15th minute, but Augsburg scored three straight goals to close the first half, then added three more goals in the second half to claim the victory.
• Ashley St. Aubin (SO, Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS) scored two goals in the first half to lead the Auggies. Jessy Wiskofske (JR, Wausau, Wis./Wausau West HS) and Kealie Espinda Banick (JR, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) had a goal and assist each.
• Ciara Gregory (SO, Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) scored a goal on a penalty kick in the 59th minute, and Rayni Pemble (SR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) scored the other Auggie goal. Natalee Lessert (FY, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) had an assist for the Auggies.
• Augsburg outshot Northwestern by a 29-9 margin in the game, and had 10 corner kicks to Northwestern's four. St. Aubin had nine shots in the game, while Lessert had four shots.
• Emily Chapman (SO, Elburn, Ill./Kaneland HS) and Marissa Guillou (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) split time in goal for the Auggies. Chapman had two saves in the first half, and Guillou had one save in the second half.

FOR THE FOES
• Megan Larsen scored Northwestern's lone goal of the game, assisted by Anna Martinson.
• Samantha Dewey had nine saves in goal for the Eagles.
