Nick Heenie (JR, Victoria, Minn./Waconia HS) extended his streak of games with 100-plus receiving yards to five for Augsburg University, in the Auggies' 57-25 loss to the No. 7-ranked University of St. Thomas in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football contest on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Heenie caught seven passes for 120 yards and a 20-yard touchdown from quarterback
Quinn Frisell (JR, Plymouth, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) in the second quarter. The 120-yard effort marks Heenie's fifth straight 100-plus-yard receiving performance and sixth of his career.
• Frisell completed 23-of-33 passes for 223 yards and three touchdowns against an interception. Reliever
Quentin Lake (SO, Portland, Ore./Lincoln HS) completed 3-of-3 passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.
• St. Thomas, ranked No. 7 in the latest American Football Coaches Association Division III national poll and D3football.com national poll, outgained Augsburg by a 514-243 margin in the game. Augsburg was held to minus-27 rushing yards by the Tommies, including 18 yards lost on two quarterback sacks.
• Tied 7-7 in the first quarter, the Tommies ran off 22 unanswered points to take the lead, eventually leading 36-13 at halftime. The Tommies scored on eight of their 12 drives of the game and had to punt just once.

Jeremy Hallowanger (SR, Oakdale, Minn./St. Paul Highland Park HS) scored two receiving touchdowns for the Auggies -- an 18-yarder from Frisell in the third quarter and an 18-yarder from Lake in the fourth quarter.

Kyle Hughes (SR, Minnetonka, Minn./Minneapolis Washburn HS) caught seven passes for 59 yards, including an 11-yard score from Frisell in the first quarter.

Jacob Bom (JR, Shorewood, Minn./Minnetonka HS) led the Auggies with 10 tackles (three solo), while
Mustafa Adam (SO, River Falls, Wis.) had nine tackles (one solo).
Jabri Guy (SR, Moline, Ill./Eagan (Minn.) HS) had eight tackles (four solo) and an interception for the Auggies, while
Isiah Malone (SR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Park Center HS) and
Barclay Bates (JR, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) also had eight tackles each.
Justin Ruff (SO, Winona, Minn./Winona HS) recorded a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

• Frisell continues to lead the
MIAC's overall statistics in passing yardage (1,692), passing yardage per-game (338.4) and passing touchdowns (19).
• Heenie leads the MIAC in receiving yardage (641), receiving yardage per-game (128.2) and receiving touchdowns (11), while he is tied with teammate
Ray Guyton Jr. (SR, Stockton, Calif./St. Mary's HS) for the MIAC's lead in receptions with 37.
FOR THE FOES
• St. Thomas scored seven rushing touchdowns on the afternoon -- two each by quarterback Jacques Perra and running backs Jordan Roberts and Tucker Trettel. Trettel rushed 12 times for 87 yards, Roberts rushed 15 times for 68 yards and Perra rushed seven times for 55 yards. Josh Parks also scored a rushing touchdown for the Tommies.
• Perra completed 21-of-26 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown against an interception. He threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to Luke Iverson just before halftime.
• Vinny Pallini caught eight passes for 98 yards, while Gabe Green caught four passes for 60 yards and Iverson caught three passes for 42 yards.
• Dylan Andrew had five tackles (five solo), including two tackles for loss. George Hottinger also had five tackles (two solo) and an interception. Austin Jochum and David Danhauer had quarterback sacks for the Tommies.
