MINNEAPOLIS -- For the second time this season, the Augsburg University women's basketball team rallied back from an early deficit to top Hamline University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday. The Auggies posted a 78-56 win over the Pipers, which in combination with a Saint Mary's loss, moves Augsburg into a tie for the fifth-place spot in the conference standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The script was strikingly similar to the teams' previous meeting this season, a
72-62 win on Jan. 3. The Auggies found themselves down by 15 points in the second quarter, but were able to rally back, outscoring the Pipers 45-11 in the second half en route to claiming another important conference victory.
• Just like the teams last meeting, Augsburg had a balanced scoring attack, finishing with four players in double figures.
Tamira McLemore (SO, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) paced the Augsburg offense with her second straight 20-point performance. McLemore was 7-for-14 from the floor and added six rebounds.

Camryn Speese (SO, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) went 6-fo-10 from the floor, finishing with 15 points, while pulling down four rebounds.
Aiza Wilson (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) and
K'Aezha Wubben (SO, Minneapolis, Minn/Hopkins HS) added 11 and 10 points respectively.
• On the boards, the Auggies were led by
Bridget Bednar (SR, Pierz, Minn./Pierz HS) and
Abby Jordan (SO, Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS), who pulled down seven rebounds apiece. Bednar added three blocked shots and three steals, while Jordan added six points and a pair of assists.
• Jazmyn Solseth (FY, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran HS) led Augsburg with a career-high five steals, to go along with six points and five rebounds.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 42.4 percent (28-of-66) from the field, while Hamline was held to just 33.3 percent (17-of-51) shooting, including just 10.0 percent (1-of-10) in the fourth quarter. The Auggies are 9-0 in games this season when they shoot better that 40.0 percent from the floor.
• Augsburg posted a 42-31 advantage on the boards and a 42-16 advantage in points in the paint.
• The Auggies won the turnover battle, forcing 18 Hamline miscues, while committing a season-low eight. The Auggies posted a 23-13 advantage in points off turnovers.
FOR THE FOES
• Molly Wampler led Hamline with 15 points, while Kaeli Stayer added 13 points.
• Aly Sartain led all players with a game-high 10 rebounds, while adding nine points.
