NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The Augsburg University men's basketball team shot a season-best 60.0 percent in an 82-66 victory over St. Olaf College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies shot an impressive 61.1 percent from the field, including an outstanding 12-of-20 from three-point range, as Augsburg led virtually from start to finish in an important MIAC victory over St. Olaf. With the win, Augsburg moves to 10-2 on the season.

Collin Olmscheid (SR, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) paced the Augsburg offense with his second consecutive 29-point performance. Olmscheid was 12-of-14 from the field, while adding four rebounds and four assists.

Harry Sonie (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) and
Booker Coplin (SO, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) also finished in double figures for the Auggies. Sonie shot 6-for-9 from the field, finishing with 15 points, while adding three assists and three steals. Coplin finished with 13 points, including a 3-for-4 performance from beyond the arc.

Nick Sabatke (SR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) added seven points and four assists for the Auggies.
• For the second consecutive game, Augsburg had a season-best shooting performance. The Auggies finished (33-of-55) from the field, while St. Olaf connected on 43.1 percent (22-of-51) of its shot attempts. The Auggies claimed a 28-26 advantage on the boards and a 15-6 advantage in second chance points.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• With the win, Augsburg moves to 10-2 overall -- their best start to a season after 12 games since the 2012-13 campaign, when they also started 10-2, en route to a 21-7 finish and appearance in the MIAC playoff championship game.
FOR THE FOES
• St. Olaf had three players finish in double figures, led by Dominic Bledsoe, who scored 18 points, which included a 4-for-6 effort from three-point range.
• Austin Korba paced the Oles on the boards, pulling down seven rebounds, while adding nine points.
