ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- The Augsburg University volleyball team dropped a three-set match at the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg was held at bay by a strong Saint Benedict team that is currently undefeated in MIAC play. The Bennies hit at a .236 percentage, while holding the Auggies to .169.Â
• Offensively, the Auggies were led by
Megan Quam (JR, Kenyon, Minn./Kenyon-Wanamingo HS) who had 11 kills -- her seventh time this season with double-digit kills. Quam also added two digs and a block assist.Â
• Middle blockerÂ
Corrina Evans (SO, Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS) had nine kills, while adding three block assists and two digs.Â

Macey Terhell (SR, Osceola, Wis./Osceola HS) had a team-best 17 digs, and had four assists. Fellow senior
Morgan Malley (Harmony, Minn./Fillmore Central HS) recorded her 12th assist-dig double-double of this season, with 28 assists and 12 digs. Malley added five kills and three block assists.Â

Kayla Gjerde (FY, Afton, Minn./Stillwater HS) chipped in 10 digs, four kills and a block assist.Â
Sydnie Zachary (JR, Apple Valley, Minn./Bloomington Jefferson HS) recorded six digs and five kills.Â
FOR THE FOES
• Saint Benedict was lead by Madison Weiss and Hunter Weiss, who had 17 and 13 kills respectively. M. Weiss hit at a .517 clip and had a match-best six blocks (five assists, one solo).Â
• Katie Koch recorded 38 assists and 13 digs, while Haley LaValle had match-best 20 digs.Â
