HOW IT HAPPENED
Heenie, who is leading the MIAC in both receiving yardage (717 yards) and receiving yardage per-game (119.5), reached the century mark for the fifth time in his six games this season, the 13th time in his career and 12th time in his last 16 games.
• Heenie caught a 65-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Quentin Lake (JR, Portland, Ore./Lincoln HS) on Augsburg's third offensive play from scrimmage, tying the game at 7-7 just 1:11 into the game. The pair hooked up again with 2:10 left in the opening frame on a 15-yard touchdown pass, cutting the Tommie advantage to 21-14 -- the first time this season St. Thomas has allowed double-digit opponent scoring in a game.

The Tommies outgained the Auggies by a 538-169 margin, including an advantage of 344 to minus-21 in rushing yardage.
• Lake completed 14-of-30 passing for 190 yards, but was intercepted three times and sacked six times before being relieved in the fourth quarter.
