MINNEAPOLIS -- Scoring three power-play goals to register her first collegiate hat trick and adding an assist for a four-point night,
Mackenzie Molnar (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) led the Augsburg University women's hockey team to a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference sweep of Bethel University with a 6-0 win on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Molnar assisted on the opening goal of the game, then scored three of the next four goals for the Auggies, all on the power play. Augsburg went 3-of-5 on the power play in the game.

Ellie Tabaka (JR, Maplewood, Minn./Tartan HS) had three assists, including two on Molnar's goals, while
Bridget Wagner (JR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) had a goal and three assists for a four-point night.

Annie Juergens (JR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS), a transfer this season from Hamline, claimed her fifth collegiate shutout and first as an Auggie, stopping all 17 shots she faced to also claim her first victory at Augsburg.
• Molnar scored from Tabaka and Wagner at the 7:40 mark of the first period, then scored from Tabaka at the 4:19 mark of the second period, and from Wagner at the 11:15 mark of the second period.

Nikki Nightengale (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) opened the scoring with a goal from Molnar and
Jeanette Bealke (JR, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) at the 5:22 mark of the first period. Wagner scored from
McKenna Ellena (SO, Wales, Wis./Kettle Moraine HS) at the 18:22 mark of the first period, and
Megan Johnson (SR, Madison, Wis./Memorial HS) capped the scoring with a goal from
Bridget Walter (SR, Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS) and
Kalli Prekker (SO, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) at the 2:28 mark of the third period.
• Augsburg outshot Hamline by a 37-17 margin in the game. Molnar and Wagner had five shots each, while Walter and
Bailey Beane (SR, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) had four shots on-goal each.
FOR THE FOES
• Claire Belkholm had 18 saves in the first two periods for Bethel, with Emily Auge claiming 13 saves in the third period.
• Bailey Thompson, Sarina Goos, Bri Stafne and Courtney Johnston had three shots each for the Royals.
