Hollywood Hermanson (JR, Dover, Minn./Dover-Eyota HS) scored a goal and had an assist, and
Nikki Nightengale (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) scored the eventual game-winning goal with 1:53 left to play, as the Augsburg University women's hockey team rallied for a 3-2 victory over host Saint Mary's University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg outshot Saint Mary's by a 28-6 margin -- including an 11-3 advantage in the second period and 9-1 advantage in the third -- but had to rally for the victory. Trailing 2-1 after two periods, Hermanson tied the game with her first career power-play goal, scoring from
Megan Johnson (SR, Madison, Wis./Memorial HS) and
Valerie Whichello (SR, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) at the 7:45 mark of the final frame. The goal was Hermanson's second of the season and third of her college career.
• Nightengale scored her team-leading fourth goal (and second game-winner) of the season at the 18:07 mark, scoring from Johnson and
Mikayla Jones (JR, Oak Park Heights, Minn./B.E. Emerson Prep HS).

Emily Ach (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) opened the scoring for the Auggies with a goal 3:38 into the game, scoring from Hermanson.

• Nightengale and
Bridget Wagner (JR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) had four shots on-goal each for the Auggies.

among MIAC players in overall statistics, and tied for the most among league defenders. Her five points are fourth-most among MIAC defenders.
