MINNEAPOLIS --
Bridget Wagner (JR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) tied the game at 1-1 with a first-period goal for Augsburg University, but the No. 4-ranked University of Wisconsin-River Falls scored six straight goals in claiming a 7-1 win in a nonconference women's hockey game on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wagner tied the game at the 15:58 mark, firing a rising shot to the top corner of the net, assisted by
Emily Ach (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS). The goal gave Wagner a tie for the team's lead in goals with six, while she holds the team lead with 12 points (six goals, six assists).
• However, the Falcons claimed a goal in the final minute of the first period to take the lead, then scored three goals in the second period and two more in the third to pull away for the win. UW-River Falls outshot Augsburg by a 32-26 margin in the game.

Nikki Nightengale (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS), who is tied with Wagner for the team lead in goals with six, had four shots in the game, while Ach,
Megan Johnson (SR, Madison, Wis./Memorial HS) and
Jacie Hoehn (SR, Waseca, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville HS) had three shots each.

Annie Juergens (JR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) had 25 saves in goal for the Auggies.
FOR THE FOES
• Madi Nolan, Abigail Stow and Callie Hoff scored two goals each for UW-River Falls, with Nolan and Hoff each adding assists. Izzy Brosseau scored the first Falcon goal of the game, and Bella Wagner and Kiana Gilbraith had two assists each.
• Tatyana Delaittre had 25 saves in goal for UW-River Falls, ranked No. 4 nationally in both major Division III national polls, by USCHO.com and D3hockey.com.

• Augsburg is now idle for the holiday break, and will take a 10-day, four-game trip to Europe starting on Dec. 27. The Auggies return to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Jan. 11-12 with a series against Hamline.
