ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team used a 24-12 fourth quarter to propel past Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival Hamline University on Wednesday night at Hutton Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After only shooting 28.1 percent (9-of-32) in the first half, the Auggie offense started to click and shot an impressive 51.7 percent (15-of-29) over the third and fourth quarters to post the important win over Hamline. Leading the charge in the second half was,Â
Jazmyn Solseth (SO, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran HS) andÂ
Arianna Jones (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS), who combined to score 23 of their 25 points in the second half.
• Solseth's 12 points were her third double-digit scoring effort of the season and second consecutive. She finished the night 6-for-9 with four rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot. Jones' effort included a 6-for-6 effort from the free throw line, while adding three assists and a pair of steals. As a team, Augsburg finished 9-for-9 from the free throw line on the night.
• Pacing the Augsburg offense was
Kaezha Wubben (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS), who scored 14 points, while adding a game-high four steals.
• Also finishing in double figures wasÂ
Tamira McLemore (JR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS), who finished with 11 points, while adding five rebounds, a team-best four assists and a pair of steals.Â
• Leading Augsburg on the boards wasÂ
Camryn Speese (JR, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS), who pulled down six rebounds, while adding eight points, three assists and a pair of blocked shots.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 39.4 percent (24-of-61) from the field, while Hamline connected on 36.2 percent (17-of-47) of its shot attempts. Hamline posted a 40-30 advantage on the boards, but Augsburg won the turnover battle 24-14 and turned that into a 24-4 advantage in points off turnovers.

FOR THE FOES
• Hamline finished with three players in double figures, led by a 16-point, 8-rebound effort from Reilly Geistfeld.
• Kaeli Stayer and Gabby Robinson added 13 and 10 points respectively for the Pipers.
