MINNEAPOLIS --
Tamira McLemore (SO, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) scored 18 points, but a tough shooting night was too much to overcome as the Augsburg University women's basketball team fell 68-59 to St. Catherine University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• A cold shooting night for the Auggies (20-of-65 from the field for 30.8 percent), combined with the Wildcats having their second-best shooting night of the season (22-of-45 for 48.9 percent), proved to be too much for Augsburg.
• The Auggies forced 25 Wildcat turnovers, while only committing 13 and posted a 21-12 advantage in points off-turnovers.
• Offensively, Augsburg was led by 18 points from McLemore. She finished a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line, while adding four assists and four steals.

Camryn Speese (SO, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) had another strong effort for Augsburg, putting up 13 points, while shooting 5-of-11 from the field. She added six rebounds and three steals on the evening.
• Leading Augsburg on the boards was
Bridget Bednar (SR, Pierz, Minn./Pierz HS), who pulled down seven rebounds, including five offensive boards, while adding two points.

Aiza Wilson (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) added 10 points, while
K'Aezha Wubben (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) added eight points, three rebounds and a pair of steals.
FOR THE FOES
• St. Catherine was led by a 30-point effort from Danica Cambrice, who shot 12-of-18 from the field.
• Jackie Radford added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats.
