TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Augsburg University baseball team opened its spring break trip to Arizona over the weekend, dropping a 14-4 decision to Framingham State (Mass.) on Saturday, while being swept in a doubleheader against Concordia University-Wisconsin on Sunday.

• Augsburg was limited to seven hits in the game, ended in the eighth inning due to the Tucson Invitational Games' 10-run rule. The Auggies also committed five errors, leading to seven unearned runs against three Auggie pitchers.

• Foote went 2-for-4 in the game for the Auggies.
• Anthony Venuti and Andrew Curtis had three hits each for Framingham State, with Curtis scoring three runs and Venuti scoring twice with three RBI.
CONCORDIA-WISCONSIN DOUBLEHEADER HIGHLIGHTS
• Bakko had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and scored a run in the Augsburg doubleheader against Concordia-Wisconsin. Erikson, DeCroock and
Jordan Peoples (SO, Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) had two hits each, with Peoples stroking an RBI double.
• In their first game, the Auggies scored their lone run in the fourth inning, as Peoples' RBI double plated Bodine.
• The Falcons took advantage of several big innings in the first game, scoring four runs in the first inning, three runs in the third, five runs in the fifth and two runs in the sixth.
• In the second game, Augsburg scored a run in the fifth inning, as DeCroock plated
Walker Rogers (SO, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) on an RBI single. In the sixth, Bakko led off the inning with a double, then moved to third and scored on a pair of wild pitches. Later, Tomony hit an RBI single to plate Erikson.

Charles Linder (JR, Harris, Minn./North Branch HS) started on the mound for the Auggies in the second game, striking out four while not walking a batter in four innings.
Quentin Lake (FY, Portland, Ore./Lincoln HS) saw his first varsity action in relief, striking out three while walking two in two innings.
