REDLANDS, Calif. -- Outscoring Augsburg University by a 9-1 margin in each half, the University of Redlands scored an 18-2 women's lacrosse victory on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Helena Nguyen (SR, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) scored the opening goal of the game, and Izzy Snow (JR, Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) scored the opening goal of the second half. But Redlands scored the final nine goals of each half to claim the victory.
• Mikayla Knudson (SO, Zimmerman, Minn./Elk River HS) had two caused turnovers, two draw controls and one ground ball for Augsburg. Delaney Everett (SR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) had two ground balls and two draw controls, and Mikayla Jones (SO, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) had two draw controls.
• Goalie Maddie Seykora (FY, Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna HS) had seven saves, along with five ground balls.
• Redlands claimed a 30-9 shot advantage in the game, and had 15 draw controls to Augsburg's seven. Redlands claimed 19 ground balls to Augsburg's 13.

FOR THE FOES
• Sadie Pickering scored six goals with an assist, while Kelsey Ruhl had two goals with five assists. Lacey Bjorndal had 11 draw controls, four caused turnovers and five ground balls. 
• Quinn Egan had three saves in goal for the Bulldogs.
