MINNEAPOLIS --
Morgan Malley (JR, Harmony, Minn./Fillmore Central HS) hit a three-run home run in the second inning of the second game, while also recording the victory in the pitching circle, as the Augsburg University softball team scored a split of a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader split with St. Olaf College on Thursday at Edor Nelson Field.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Trailing 4-1 going into the sixth inning, Augsburg used a three-run sixth frame to tie the game. St. Olaf led off the top of the seventh with a go-ahead, solo home run, and the Auggies were retired in order in the bottom of the frame.

Shannon Dale (SO, Watertown, Minn./Watertown-Mayer HS) enabled the Auggies to tie the game in the sixth inning.

Samantha Anderson (JR, Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) drove in Augsburg's first run of the game on a sacrifice bunt in the first inning, platingÂ
Anesia King (SO, Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti HS).
• Anderson had three strikeouts against two walks in a complete-game pitching effort for Augsburg.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• A four-run second inning, keyed by a three-run homer by Malley, broke the game open for the Auggies. Malley struck out one while walking three and allowing just three hits in the game, with Anderson pitching the final inning in relief.
• Anderson hit an RBI double in the first inning, Dale drove in Anderson on a single in the third inning, and
Katie Parker (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) connected on an RBI single to drive home King in the fourth.
• Anderson and Dale had two hits each for the Auggies, while Malley and King scored two runs each.
FOR THE FOES
• Hannah Matthies went 3-for-4 with a double and two home runs in the first game -- a two-run homer in the third and the go-ahead homer in the seventh.
• Julie Graf, who leads the MIAC's overall statistics with 144 strikeouts, had 2 against four walks and five hits in the first-game pitching win
