ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's lacrosse team suffered its first loss in Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference play, with a 14-11 loss at Hamline University on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Hamline scored five of the first six goals of the game in the opening 15 minutes of play, taking a 10-6 lead into the locker room at halftime. Augsburg cut the advantage to 10-8 in the first two minutes of the second half, but the Pipers scored four of the next five goals to secure the victory between two of the top teams in the MWLC.

Izzy Snow (JR, Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) scored three goals with three assists for a six-point night, adding a draw control and a caused turnover.

Delaney Everett (SR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) tied her season-high with four goals, adding three draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover.

Allie Tuccitto (FY, Rosemount, Minn./Eastview HS) scored two goals with an assist, and
Annika Hegrenes (SO, Maplewood, Minn./Concordia Academy HS) and
Mikayla Jones (SO, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) each scored goals. Hegrenes also had two ground balls and a draw control.

Christina Nelson (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) had eight draw controls and a ground ball.

Marissa Guillou (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) had 17 saves, along with four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Hamline outshot Augsburg by a 43-19 margin in the game, and had 21 ground balls to 15 for the Auggies. Hamline had 15 draw controls to Augsburg's 12.
FOR THE FOES
• Sydney Dynneson and Dana Almquist scored four goals each, with Tara Dalman and Bryden Maass scoring two goals each.
• Lexus Tatge had eight draw controls, six ground balls and three caused turnovers, and Dynneson also contributed four draw controls.
• Molly Dionne had three saves in goal, along with two ground balls and a caused turnover.
