DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Augsburg University women's lacrosse team returned to its winning ways in Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference play, scoring a 20-4 victory at Loras College on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Tied 3-3 four minutes into the game, Augsburg scored 11 of the next 12 goals in the first half, taking a 14-4 halftime lead. Augsburg scored 10 straight goals to lead 19-4 with 12:49 left to play.

Delaney Everett (SR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) led the way for the Auggies, scoring a season-high five goals with an assist for a six-point night. She added a team-high seven draw controls and three caused turnovers.

Izzy Snow (JR, Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) tied a career-high with a seven-point night, scoring four goals with three assists. She also had three draw controls and two caused turnovers.

Mikayla Jones (SO, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) and
Helena Nguyen (SR, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) scored three goals each.

Allie Tuccitto (FY, Rosemount, Minn./Eastview HS) scored two goals with two assists, while
Demey Everett (SO, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) scored two goals with an assist.
Ellie Tabaka (FY, Maplewood, Minn./Concordia Academy HS) also scored a goal.

Christina Nelson (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) had five draw controls and two caused turnovers.
• Goalie
Marissa Guillou (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) and Maddie Sykora (FY, Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna HS) split time in goal for the Auggies, with Guillou playing the first 50 minutes and Sykora finishing the final 10 minutes.
• Augsburg outshot Loras by a 24-7 margin in the first half, en route to a 32-13 advantage in the game. Augsburg had 16 draw controls to Loras' nine, and converted 14-of-16 clearing attempts, compared to 9-of-19 for the Duhawks.
FOR THE FOES
• Sarah James scored two goals for Loras, while Sarah Hanson scored a goal with an assist. Renata Veljacic and Katlynne Wolf also scored goals for the Duhawks.
• Ashley McGee had nine saves in goal for Loras.
