MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's lacrosse team remained unbeaten in Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference play, gaining its sixth straight victory in a 13-2 triumph over the Illinois Institute of Technology on Sunday afternoon at Edor Nelson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• In claiming its fifth straight double-digit victory, Augsburg pulled away from a shorthanded Illinois Tech squad that was only able to dress and play 10 players. Augsburg scored the first 11 goals of the game before Illinois Tech scored twice in the final 20 minutes of play.

Izzy Snow (JR, Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) scored three goals with two assists for a five-point night, adding two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Helena Nguyen (SR, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS), who has scored at least one goal in every one of Augsburg's 10 games this season, scored four goals with an assist for a five-point night. Nguyen has now scored four goals or more in six games this season, including her last four games in a row.

Delaney Everett (SR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) tied her season-high with four goal, adding four draw controls, two caused turnovers and three ground balls. Her younger sister
Demey Everett (SO, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS) scored two goals with two ground balls and a caused turnover.

Christina Nelson (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) collected seven draw controls and a caused turnover, and Citaly Escobar () had five caused turnovers and four ground balls.
Allie Tuccitto (FY, Rosemount, Minn./Eastview HS) had three ground balls and a caused turnover, and
Annika Hegrenes (SO, Maplewood, Minn./Concordia Academy HS) had four caused turnovers.
• Augsburg outshot Illinois Tech by a 24-13 margin and had 13 draw controls to the Scarlet Hawks' four. Augsburg converted 19-of-20 clearing attempts, compared to 15-of-23 for Illinois Tech.

Marissa Guillou (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) had five saves in 53 minutes of action, with
Maddie Seykora (FY, Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna HS) playing the final seven minutes with a save.

• Madison Meredith scored both Illinois Tech goals, with Shanie Scoles adding an assist.
• Scoles had three draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers, and Marina Eraas had four caused turnovers and three ground balls.
• Jessica Cochis had five saves in goal for the Scarlet Hawks.
