BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The Augsburg University men's and women's cross country teams hosted its first-ever Augsburg University Invitational on Saturday morning at Highland Greens Golf Course.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Pacing the women and setting her collegiate 6,000-meter best time was
Ann Sheely (FY, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater Area HS) with a time of 27:25.0, finishing in 114th place out of 312 runners.
•
Cait Olson (SR, Onamia, Minn./Onamia HS) finished in 165th place with a time of 28:28.8.
•
Zoe Huebner (SO, Neenah, Wis./Neenah HS) and
Camryn Masse (FY, Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie HS) finished 264th and 279th respectively for Augsburg. Masse posted a time of 32:51.6 in her collegiate debut, while Huebner recorded a time of 31:56.3.
• Rounding out the Auggie runners was
Allison Mangan (SO, Roberts, Wis./Wisconsin Virtual Academy HS), who crossed the line in 36:49.7.

Ryan Moore (SR, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS), was the top finish for the Augsburg men in the 8,000-meter race, recording a time of 31:00.9, finishing 124th.
• In his collegiate debut,
Mohamed Salad (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS), finished 159th with a time of 31:38.3.

Gregory Miller (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) was the next Auggie to cross the line in 34:03.2, good for 244th place.
•
Kevin Sethre (FY, Berthoud, Colo./Berthoud HS) and
Jackson Gerber (JR, Grantsburg, Wis./Grantsburg HS) rounded out the Augsburg contingent, finishing in 35:52.5 and 36:35.2 respectively.
FOR THE FOES
• In the women's race, Minnesota-Duluth took the title with 88 team points, while Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Sam Slattery claimed medalist honors with a 23:32.7 clocking.
• On the men's side, Wisconsin-La Crosse claimed the team victory with four individuals in the top 10, including the top finisher, Josh Schraeder.
