Ellie Tabaka (JR, Maplewood, Minn./Tartan HS) and
Jacie Hoehn (SR, Waseca, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville HS) gave Augsburg University a 2-0 lead, but Hamline University responded with three unanswered goals, claiming a 3-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's hockey victory on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Tabaka put the Auggies in front with a goal from
Mackenzie Molnar (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) at the 7:33 mark of the first period, Tabaka's second goal of the season.
• At the 6:19 mark of the second period, Hoehn scored her first goal of the season, assisted by
Bridget Wagner (JR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS), to give the Auggies a 2-0 lead.
• The Pipers cut the lead to 2-1 with 1:01 left in the second period, then scored twice in the third period to take the lead, outshooting the Auggies by an 11-7 margin in the final frame. Hamline outshot Augsburg by a 26-22 margin in the game.

Annie Juergens (JR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) had 23 saves in goal for Augsburg.
FOR THE FOES
• Leah Schwartzman had a goal and an assist, with Katie Carlson and Madison Kolbow also scoring goals for the Pipers, ranked No. 7 nationally in the D3hockey.com Division III national poll and No. 8 in the USCHO.com poll.
• McKenna Hulslander started and had six saves in 26 minutes in goal. Jaela O'Brien had 14 saves in relief, picking up the win.
