NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team scored a 74-59 victory over St. Olaf College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the Skoglund Center. With the win, Coach Ted Riverso became the all-time coaching win leader in Augsburg women's basketball history.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg jumped out to a 15-3 lead and closed the first frame with a 26-13 advantage. The big first quarter proved too much for the Oles to overcome, as the Auggies never let St. Olaf get closer than 10 for the remainder of the game.

Camille McCoy (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn.) led the Augsburg offense with an Auggie career-high 14 points, shooting 6-for-7 from the floor, while adding four rebounds and a pair of steals.
• Also scoring in double figures for the Auggies was Tamira McLemore (JR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) and Arianna Jones (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS), who scored 13 points apiece. McLemore added four rebounds and four assists, while Jones added five rebounds and three assists.
• Camryn Speese (JR, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) added nine points, while Selena Lor (FY, Winona, Minn./Winona HS) chipped in seven points.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 39.7 percent (27-of-68) from the field, while St. Olaf connected on 39.3 percent (22-of-56) of its shot attempts. St. Olaf posted a 47-37 advantage on the boards, but Augsburg claimed 19-6 advantage in second chance points.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• In his fourth season, Riverso now has a 55-37 record (.598 winning percentage) at Augsburg, breaking the school's career wins record, originally set by Marilyn Pearson Florian (54-62 from 1980-85). Riverso's teams have recorded 12 or more wins in each of his four seasons, including this season's 14-3 overall mark.
• In 19 seasons as a head coach, including 15 seasons at St. Thomas (1984-99), Riverso now has a 392-117 career record (.770 winning percentage).
FOR THE FOES
• St. Olaf was led by Makenna Ash, who posted a 15-point, 17-rebound effort.
• K'Lynn Lewis added 15 points, while Ella Skrien added 11 points for the Oles.
